This means that social scientist should focus on the improvement of conditions of well-being and create conditions of social justice, equality and respect for human rights. In order to achieve this we must first understand the processes or forces or mechanisms that lead to inequalities, injustices and human rights violations. It is important to understand that sociology is not just a tool to understand and study societies but also to change them. We need to stop universalizing sociological issues and be able to envision the possible solutions. Change is possible and it should be direction. Concept of ubuntu: originates from south africa and was popularized by nelson. You can only be fully human through the humanity of others. this means that a person can only be a human in a community. A scientific shows that humans are naturally compassionate beings.
