SOC150H1 Lecture Notes - Lecture 8: Mass Production, Time Discipline, Turnitin
Document Summary
Your literature review using your five sociological journal articles should be organized thematically, with an overarching narrative, meaning a rationale for how the information is presented. You have two options in terms of how to generate those themes. In option 1, the themes are the different clusters or groupings of information from your concept map. They represent different aspects or elements of your topic connected to your research question. If you explored two, three, four or more different aspects in your research, you want to speak to those. This option is most like the literature reviews. At the beginning of the semester, you started with a research interest which you eventually formulated as an initial research question.
