Inequality involves comparison, more and less, relating on group against another. Inequality in terms of better or worse conditions. Main forms of inequality: status, social honour, decision making, organizations, some business burn a lot more than others, and also make a lot of more than others. Some main sources of inequality: privileged access to scarce resources. Imperial china, roman empire, ancient egypt: existence of permanent bureaucracy= aid as a tool for rule, standing army = permanent army, served the state.
