What is reading in today"s digital world (technology wise): How we read affects how we are individually and the culture. Things that show up at our news feed: is the most popular. Dominant has the most power behind it. If we are not consuming critically but passively, these sources are involving so much agency as we might think. When we read constantly and quickly, maybe it becomes even more important is the reader wit awareness. History of reading: a practice of developing oneself. We live inside of them; that is why we don"t always think about it. Readings: citizens how culture of girls/teenagers affected by . How are our narratives of the virtual world and the narratives of self. This is happening everywhere and suddenly esp how media has advanced. So i wont construct my whole sense of self depending on how people look at me on facebook. If not critically, we are doing it passively.
