Distinguishing c-transforms from n-transforms (and from each other) Raymond dart and the sites of taung and makapansgat. Found a skull in a cave, looked a lot like a young chimpanzee, but had some humanoid features. Figured out it was a bipedal creature. Did not have sharp canines, which is a key feature for chimpanzees and other apes, as it was needed for defence.
