Exam q 40 min pracy drill: which of the options is the most distributed, may trick us! Make sure that the distributed pracy is the same total time (40 mins) Random practicing 2 or more tasks in the skill, performance sucks, but learning is better. Blocked learning sucks but performance is better. Blocked group is performing better in practice. Random practice is better in retention tests (ie. learning) Group that is blocked during pracy then switch to random sucks the most. Group that is random during pracy then switch to blocked is the best. Cannot scrimmage all the time (100% game like) because no repetition (we learn by repetition) therefore cannot master skillz. Evi that suggest that blocked pracy is better for the cognitive stage of learning. Random pracy works but they have to actually be able to do the skill. Hits after he started this were shitty. Did not come up with theory why random pracy works.
