The time that we can look at the dna evidence that can reopen cases. The person who was wrongly convicted does not match the dna that they have. False allegations and wrongly convicted people placed under the polygraph. Confession is the gold standard in the legal setting, allowing successful prosecution. Social influence within police investigation can lead to people falsely confessing. Police can lie; style of questioning can cause people to say things that are not true and then those people truly believing that they"re guilty when they are not. There are other models of questioning being developed to not lead people to falsely confessing.
