The Environment and the Individual
Agenda 21 (or the Rio agreement of 1992) attempts to provide a formula for achieving
increased environmental quality with the rights of individuals in mind
Millennium Development Goals of 2002, World summit on Sustainable development
(WSSD 2002), individual rights and environmental quality; partnership, importance of
local knowledge, organizational development and sustainability, communications and
involvement, cooperative learning; HRD, education and outreach; establishment of
steward-ship ethic among stake holders.
