Anthropologists and people that are being studied speak different languages gave different beliefs etc. We don"t understand them, they don"t understand us. Right and wrong vary among groups and perhaps individuals. Cultural moral relativism vs. individual moral relativism. Most people disagree with cultural, most people agree with individual. But does believe there are universal moral truths and that we should work towards a common understanding. She argues that to respect someone, you have to understand their ways well enough. The better amount of knowledge the best possibility of respecting. Presuppose knowledge of other culture despite other beliefs, we know that differences exist. Still live in moral world, humans all over have same basic human realities. Cannot make favourable judgement without knowledge just like you can"t make an unfavourable judgement.
