Japanese macaques thick fur, burrow through snow for food, use volcanic hot springs to warm up. Koshima macaques wash sweet potatoes before eating, washed them in salt water taste better, separate from sand by putting them in water y y learn from each other: essentially four footed animals y apes, orangutan, gibbon. some males get so big they have to travel on the ground.
