Photoshop: reduce brightness on left side of face, raise contrast levels, sharpen the eyes, remove stray hairs on back right side, temperature adjustment. Use alt to sample what part you want to use (on the working background) Then go on the adjustment layers and clone stamp there. Lasso tool, make mask around the item you want sharpened with working background selected, dancing ants, new layer, command j, filter, sharpen, un-sharpen mask, put under the adjustment layers make sure to feather the edges too. Filter blur gaussian blur (blurs background hair) **fix lighting first (brightness/contrast), put every other adjust under that layer.
