The culture is strati ed in terms of gender and age so he has access to power. In this culture certain things can only be talked about by him so he holds onto culture capital as he controls knowledge etc. Ie: fashion no one is nude/wearing poor fashion/how to dress like a student. a. it all has to be learned when thinking about culture as being learned, it implies it is perfectly reproduced. Culture is a process" hints at culture as change it is passed on certainly but also a process. Culture is ambiguous" things don"t always mean the same thing in a cultural context ie: context of jokes changes between cultures and movements.
