Trying to maximize the hours work at the cheapest rate. This can lead to closing down factories in na and opening in la - cheaper. Or moving from male workers to women or children. All ways of increasing capitalism and surplus by cheapening labour or having more hours work. Within the hour, putting conditions in place so workers can produce more.
