As cancer cell grows in the epithelium on the basal lamina, it can gain the ability to break through the basal lamina barrier and go into the bloodstream. It travels in the bloodstream and gets carried to another body parts and moves out of the blood vessel into tissue and proliferate. Susceptibility to cancer can be inherited for example; Some forms of breast, prostate, ovarian and intestinal cancers. Avoiding agents that cause dna damage i. e radiation, mutagens.
