Relationships among body fluids: relationship between water and ions on the outside of the animal, then on the inside of the animal, then on the inside of the cell. Ionic properties - properties where some things are charged and others are not: osmotic properties - which has an effect on the distribution of water concentration of these molecules. Cell volume regulation: cells are very crowded with proteins and organelles.
