Would previously extrude the membrane, cut it off, put it in solution, gc analysis. Only left in solution for 15 minutes to minimise contamination. Airborne collection - blow air through system, control speed of air. Air then passes out through filter of some sort. Compounds in the air will bind to it and you can then do an extraction.
