Use your internal and external analysis to draw major implications that will lead to a target market decision and the 4ps decisions. An executive summary is a summary of the entire report that shows up at the beginning of the report. However, the executive summary should be written upon completion of the report. Should not include any new information that was not included within the report. Should include: what is the marketing challenge, any recommendations, what are the major points of your marketing plan, important numbers, why your plan will work. Should be used in the conclusion statement of the executive summary. Internal/external analysis: findings from analysis, implications drawn from analysis, no decisions are to be made at this point. Recommendations: recommendations and decisions about target market and 4ps of marketing.
