His tyranny was blessed by the gods. On the one hand there is cheating and on the other hand there is knowledge: there are certain differences between them but they are essentially one in the same. Zeus acquires his status and power through deception: he knows how to cheat and that helped him make his way to the top, people believed in these myths and viewed them as fact. People were being influenced by gods who cheated. Prometheus: brought fire to man which made him an enemy to zeus.
