Object changes from frame to frame (1 drawing per cel) First full length cel movie snow white: charlie brown. Pick starting point for an object (start frame), ending point (end frame), path for object to follow. Computer generates all frames in between (tweening) Software allows us to do : looping, transition (fades), repetitions, fps, speed up motion take away frames, increase fps, slow down motion add more frames, lower fps, terminology. Keyframe (start frames and end frames -> beginning and end of an objects motion path) Tweening (process of generating intermediate frames between two images) Onion skinning old frames visible under new frame for animator. Easier to make changes bc can see previous frame. Rotoscoping trace over live action films frame by frame to make animations. Provides silhouette that can be removed from background.
