Attempted to forgot all history from 1602-1918. Theories rewrote: quests , stranger comes to a village: same ideas are constantly revisited in theory. Menards : more pragmatic ; every literary text reflects social context of that time: foregrounds how textuality : a world mediate through text language and words , literally creates a world for us. Textuality / language : can mediate / distory reality.
