The removal of okonkwo symbolizes the removal of opposition white man calls people to discuss the church and when they go, they are put in handcuffs and beaten. The stories within a story are telling us about the culture. The novel tells you how to read it. The sounds create a form of knowledge about the environment. There are device used like a film, sound, background/foreground. The novel ends pitching the colonizers version of events against the colonized people.
