There are visual elements that might alert you to know who the (cid:1) (cid:1) director is. By making the distinction between filmmakers who do not leave their authority mark on the film (someone who merely assembles the film from the script without adding their own opinion) is metteur en scene. They don"t put their personality or themselves in their film. The most important criteria is the recognizable mark (cid:1) Suggested a good director, one that is an auteur and leaves their own personality in their movies, that such a director uses a camera in the way an author uses a pen. If they know how to utilize the film tools, their movies can be as recognizable as famous writings (cid:1)
