Human geography studies the complex interplay btw humans & the places & landscapes they create. The human world is the ever-changing product of the activities of human beings to modify the pre- existing physical conditions of the earth (i. e. individuals and groups, govn"t, business) Human geographers often focus on the evolution of the human world w/ reference to people. their cultures, & physical env. We are interested in the env. both for what it is and for what its transformation into cultural landscapes means abt. us e. g. changing attributes of place.
