Social disadvantages: disease spreads, development of ethnic enclaves, intensifies class division, no inter-socialization, limits flow of information, education may suffer, life becomes mundane. Social advantages: easy access to services, improves work efficiency. Archipelago urbanization: deliberate development of new cities.
