Document Summary

Earth surface dynamics and many processes are going on . It has to do with processes going on in the river (most basic explanation) Process form landscape looks the way it does because of the processes that are going on. There are feedbacks as a landscape develops processes may change, rate at which slope erodes is determined by its gradient, over time the gradient gets flatter and flatter and thus the process of erosion almost slows down. Types of sediment, gradient and water chemistry affects erosion processes how much runoff the river receives can have a big impact on river erosion. Erosion can also be affected by direct modification of land surface by human activities. Processes are affected by: climate, geographic, geologic, hydrologic and topographic features (all these factors are connected in one way or another) Geomorphology and hydrology scales are pretty big (very interconnected) Cascading = energy or mass (solar energy, potential energy, water energy)
