Rationing in britain: petrol, bread, sugar, meat, oil, lasted into the 50s. Failure of league of nations not big enough, no support. Depression and economic nationalism link b/w economic and political situations. Cooperation among the big three british, soviet and usa. Clean slate to create new ideas transformation. International auxiliary language association: create a common language: fix miscommunication. Kitty willoughy and an international theatre society: plays used to demonstrate nationalism, break down barriers. Education reform: curb nationalism: preoccupation with children, fix the new generation, anti-nationalist message. Internationalist curriculum teach in international context: de-specialize specific countries.
