It is very socially okay in our society to make comments to people who are living with obesity. Weight bias is just as relevant as gender, race and age biases. Stigma takes many forms : violence, discrimination, cyber bullying. Some people believe that if you stigmatize people it will help them to lose weight, but in reality it is the opposite. It discourages people and results them to eat more often times.
