Inside the pocket is the radial artery, can feel pulse, significant as a landmark. When you extend your thumb, call the ext. pollicis longus, ext. pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus. Abductor pollicis longus also extend, named abductor because it is the only one that abduct the thumb.
