Within health policy healthy policy could be a descriptor of all of the types of policies. This is the idea that we want all of the types of policies to be healthy policies. Being aware of the sdh and making sure the health of individuals is being considered. Policy was created to make order in society. When a government organization decides to not make an action they are making a policy. Ex abortion and medical assistance of dying, the inaction is actually a policy that was decided on. Policies are normative they are trying to normalize behaviors and tell you what you should do. Policies are tools to solve problems problems are very complex and sometimes they can be more complex, the problems can change, problems can be subjective, how we define the problem is dependent on who is in power.
