Families will experience mental health challenges at some point in their lives. Bring change to mind: organization that tried to reduce the stigma associated with mental health. Greg: openly gay olympic diver who suffers from depression and has attempted suicide multiple times, does not take medication. Meditates, does yoga and tries other things. Patrick kennedy: politician with mental illness and suffers from addiction. Bipolar disorder: he is currently trying to integrate physical and mental health. Stigma: 2/3 of people who have access to mental health do not take advantage because of the stigma associated with it. One mind for research: an organization that kennedy is working for. Elena lindsay: stigma with mental health when looking for a job. Unemployment rates for people with severe mental health challenges can run as high as 90: she works for the coast guard and says that the most hopeful part of her life is working regularly. Andrea hillerman: hairdresser with bipolar disease.
