By making your body as best as it can be you are being a good christian. Idea that originated in upper class british schools. Making yourself muscular to emphasize god"s work. You have been made in god"s image and your body is a temple. If it (cid:498)wasn"t cricket(cid:499) it wasn"t fair not playing according to the rules. We think of (cid:498)fair play(cid:499) as universal, not just upper class individuals. Penalty box is where player that breaks the rules goes. If person breaks the rules, this means that this person is looked at differently and has loss respect from community and from other players. Represent shared culture understanding from homogenous backgrounds. Forms general morals or values that is taught through sports of physical activity. Advantage of this is that it assumes that the motivation for acting fairly will appear in the sport itself. The sport will somehow regulate itself and not support unfair behaviour (cid:498)fair play is a bag of virtues(cid:499)
