- Self-Efficacy- the stregth of a idiidual’s elief that he/she has the resources or capabilities

- Collective Efficacy- a sense of collective competence shared among individuals when allocating,
coordinating and integrating their resources in a successful concerted response to specific
situational demands
Effects of Collective Efficacy
- Selective behavior- e.g., team adopts man-to-man instead of zone
- Intensity of behavior- e.g., team works harder on defense
- Persistence in behavior- e.g., team renews effort against a perceived weak opponent
