After day two you do not really forget too much more information. Quadratic function where there is a huge loss of information at the beginning and then it plateaus. Typically when given a list of words, you are better at recalling the first and last words of the list rather than the words in the middle. Primacy effect is why you are better at remembering the words at the beginning of the list. When seeing those words first, you are able to rehearse them for longer. Recency effect they are the most recent words on the list that you saw.
