Think about physical problems and not focus on task (negative thought process) Narrowing of the visual field and elimination or relevant cues (when stressed, focus of attention goes to one thing, that you don"t take in other cues) Anxiety results in a negative cycle or spiral (more anxious, more detriment to performance = more anxiety: have to be able to stop the cycle, by controlling our arousal.
