I will be analyzing the factors that achieve the highest foot velocity on impact with the ball in a ‘place kick’ in tackle
football from a video made by the Nick Novak Kicking Academy -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Bz_MaEoGGo. He kicks the football with his right foot, starting in a standing
position with dorsiflexion in both ankles, his body slightly tilted forward, and his hand pronated resting beside his
body. The analysis is focused on the feet, ankles, knees, hips, torso and arms.
