Cognitive ergonomics will be a huge part of industry 4. 0 because no matter what, people will be working with the new technology, and there will still be consumers using the products. Leadership is an important part in setting safety culture (ie. campus maintenance, the city etc. ) Transformational leadership has a positive effect on safety climate and safety consciousness ultimately having a positive effect on risky behaviours, accidents and injuries. Role overload causes a negative direct effect on safety climate and consciousness.
