Management has brought dramatic change globalization (who/where our customers are) 40 years ago most companies traded with customers/suppliers from the same country/ethnicity. Gender and race equality in the workplace has taken our attention away from other kinds of discrimination/inequality. There was something where companies had to hire people who were different. We have to keep up with the times and times are more diverse and businesses need to follow that : social justice perspective. Dealing with diversity has been systematically shafted by organizations and societies for a long time: strategic perspective. It"s important to be just and stuff, but managing diversity well is really smart from a business perspective. Integrating diversity will help us communicate with businesses in other cultures, it"ll help us get new ideas, help us be more adaptive and therefore competitive. Make businesses more profitable and stretch further internationally: mainstream and multistream.
