Methods for finding the silver lining: destigmatize failure, embrace and teach a growth mindset, consider potential (hiring & promoting, data driven approach to identify cause. Overcome the attribution bias by assessing what causes failure/success. Antidotes to bias: build breaks into the schedule, take time just to think, encourage reflection after doing. May be cheaper and easier in the short term to ignore failures but it may limit the organization"s ability to learn.
