Surgery: prophylaxis antibiotics 3x- one dose before surgery, then q8 x2, open wounds, lungs- pneumonia, urinary- utis- stemming from catheters, bowel- appendicitis, cellulitis, meningitis, wounds, endocarditis, iv drug users.
