Explicit goal-directed relationship: the nurse provides care and meets needs. Trust is inherent = built into the profession (title of the nurse) Nurse gives care within outlined hours of work/volunteerism (time-bound) The relationship terminates once the care to the person is ended. Unequal: nurse gives care and patient benefits from the care. Client expects you to have a formal preparation knowledge and skills to (cid:373)eet (cid:272)lie(cid:374)t"s needs.
