We all agree that wasting food is bad, yet nothing is being done to stop food waste. I bought this tomato, therefore it is my tomato and i can do with it as i please. You own a car but that does not mean you can hit people. Food waste as a collective action problem". Each person"s contribution may be very small. Not throwing out a tomato will not solve world hunger. But 100000 people not throwing out a tomato would certainly help solve world hunger. Should we have laws or regulations for food waste. There is lots of food but not everyone is getting the food.
