There is not really two sides of the argument of food waste. No one argues that food waste is good. Everyone argues that food waste is bad. Root is in wasting food as you are eating too much. We all agree that wasting food is bad, yet nothing is being done to stop food waste. I bought this tomato, therefore it is my tomato and i can do with it as i please. You own a car but that does not mean you can hit people. Food waste as a collective action problem". Each person"s contribution may be very small. Not throwing out a tomato will not solve world hunger. But 100000 people not throwing out a tomato would certainly help solve world hunger. Should we have laws or regulations for food waste. There is lots of food but not everyone is getting the food.
