John locke excerpts from the second treatise of human government. Additionally discusses the revelations reason : biblical reasoning based on adam and noah, god made the world and had given the world in-common. The common part is the key aspect of it because it excludes the division of property rights, think forest, oceans, and oxygen: goes on to explain how men might come into property in several parts based on. Common vs private property: locke suggests that whatever a man removes from a state of nature using their labor, is made their property. The taking of this part does not depend on the express consent of all the commoners. : locke also uses the example of a running fountain of water. All of the water flowing is common, and in access to everyone. One man taking a bucket of water from the fountain is using his labor and therefor making it his property.
