Make a chart going through all the organs and tissues regulated by. Psym and the sym, and explain how each system coordinates events in the body to either respond to environmental stimuli like "rest and digest (relax)" or. Think about what"s happening in the brain as well: draw a four chambered heart, label the drawing, and identify the different cell types and structures. Next, take a blue (de-oxygenated) and red (oxygenated) pen and trace the flow of blood through the heart. As you are doing this, think of the how the mechanics of the heart are represented on an ecg. This site shows the heart contracting, the cardiac cycle (similar to the diagram on page. 8. 20), as well as the ecg and heart sounds. Please note: the cardiac cycle is broken down into more events and some of these events have different names than in the module.
