We live in the most peaceful era in all of human history. War is declining since the end of the cold war. Huge decline of war deaths despite the syrian civil war. Prehistoric humans had a 15% chance of being killed by violence and now it is 3% during war times. Why might the world be becoming less violent: The consequences of war are much more serious than they are now.
