Aug. 1915 czar"s commanding of the russian army & Czarina"s dominance in home affairs: left the capital and went to the war front and personally took over commanding the russian army, czarina"s left at home to take care of state affairs . Meddling in domestic affairs met with dislike from citizens. Inappropriate relations with high class women: rumoured relationship with czarina, day of assassination apparent affair with princess. Poisoned cakes and wine given to rasputin.
