Document Summary

Freudian: when you cannot remember something, it might be because of repression. Importance of memory organization: it is important to try to organize the memory to remember them better. The more we organize thing the better you can remember it. Recall clustering (bousfield 1953): what happens when we recall words that all the words that mean the same come together . State dependent retrieval (eich et, al): you are sad when you read it, if you are in the same state when you try to recall you recall them better. But the cued recall is pretty much the same in all stages. Mood influences the kind of info we acquire and retrieve: when you are sad, you remember the sad ones better. Seems to be consistent: as long as you are in the same state (on the beach when learning, on the beach when recalling) A better way to do: there should be a control group.
