Neurological impairments: physical disabilities referring to conditions that affect skeletal, muscular or neurological system to some degree, many people with physical disabilities don t have any co-occurring mental disabilities, the idea. physical disabilities = orthopedically impaired y congenital abnormality. In this province, physical disability people are considered exceptional. In our provinces, we have differing expectations y no national ones as of yet. We can have damage that occurs: prenatally. chromosomes, genes, etc (listen at 9:00: low incidence disabilities. It s a condition that involves disabilities in movement and posture: these result from damage to the brain that occur before, during or after birth during early infancy. The nerves connecting the muscles to the brain are normal: problem = lies in the communication between the two. It s a group of disorders: entire umbrella term refers to disorders that affect body movement and muscle coordination.
