Patch: hormones are absorbed trans dermally and needs to be replaces every week in a new spot (butt, pelvis, arm, upper back) Inserts directly inside and needs to be removed and replaced after 3 weeks (you can do continuous use with it though) It is a ring filled with hormones that is released into the body slowly: you can have sex with it but you will feel it move. Plan b: only effective if you"re under 175lbs, you can take it as many times as you like, only 88% effective, ella is a type of plan b for those over 175lb. Is effective for up to 5 days and you have to have a prescription for it: prevents ovulation like plan b, if you"ve already ovulated it"ll stop the fertilization, can only be taken once a month.
