Document Summary
Things you know how to do, theories and beliefs you have about things you have studied comes from the process of getting info. We do not study everything in reality, for knowledge, you just know what you did. We gather knowledge from habit, doing something over and over makes is automatic. Gather info by things someone above you has told you, someone who is more of an expert on something. You may choose to reject their answer or accept it. Cant be proven but just seems right. Scientific methods of knowing: primary research methods: design study and collect data themselves. E. g. sending out surveys, or observing behavior. Lab experiments, questionnaires/surveys, qualitative research field and quasi experiments: test people in real life environments, get more accurate answers (not children pretending to be someone, (cid:455)ou"(cid:396)e a(cid:272)tuall(cid:455) testi(cid:374)g the pe(cid:396)so(cid:374) the(cid:373)sel(cid:448)es(cid:895) Observational studies: people do(cid:374)"t k(cid:374)o(cid:449) the(cid:455) a(cid:396)e i(cid:374) the stud(cid:455), o(cid:271)se(cid:396)(cid:448)i(cid:374)g people i(cid:374) (cid:396)eal life environments.
