Occurs when parents craft and manage their lives from birth. They rob them of critical skills to be successful. Most of these teens contact their mother at least once a day. Today"s children are the most overindulged and micro-managed children in human history. Youth are more stressed when they enter university, and often run into walls once they reach the job force. Many parents go all out for their children"s first birthday. Honour e was falling into the hyper-parenting trap. There as an immense pressure on parents to take part in hyper-parenting. Child-rearing became an age of increasing self-esteem. Good parenting has become equated with purchasing power. Companies are creating products such as a gps to attach to children"s clothing and computer. Spy/cell phone spy to track their children (an electronic leash) If parent"s don"t allow their children to explore they won"t get any street smarts.
